Synopsis

The film tells the story of Murat and Helga, Turkish agents fighting against German spies during World War II. Helga's father, Alex, is a German spy who hates Turkey. Helga, who was born and raised in Turkey, does not share her father's views. After Alex's death, Murat, acting on orders from Turkish intelligence, is tasked with enlisting Helga to uncover the Germans' plans regarding Turkey. La La Land
Mia, an aspiring actress, serves lattes to movie stars in between auditions and Sebastian, a jazz musician, scrapes by playing cocktail party gigs in dingy bars, but as success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair, and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain in each other threaten to rip them apart.
