Synopsis
Surviving the Tunisia Beach Attack
A documentary that provides an account of the tragic events that unfolded on June 26, 2015, at the Riu Imperial Marhaba Hotel in Sousse, Tunisia. This attack, carried out by a lone gunman affiliated with ISIS, resulted in the deaths of 38 people, including 30 British tourists, making it the deadliest terror attack on Britons abroad since the 2005 London bombings.
The Gits
The inception and ascent of Seattle-based post-punk band the Gits, whose rise to prominence was cut short by the shocking rape and murder of their fiery lead singer, Mia Zapata, in 1993. Featuring performance footage and reflective interviews with the remaining members of the Gits, O'Kane's labor of love celebrates Zapata's memory and the group's enduring legacy.
